Cornflakes were invented by John Harvey Kellogg. Kellogg believed that sexual desire was unnatural and unhealthy and hence we created a ready-to-eat breakfast which contained little flavour or sugar – He believed that sugar made women excited and more likely to masturbate and hence believed that his invention would remedy this.
